Harness, David Morely passed away peacefully at Ed’s House in Cobourg surrounded by family.
Dave, David or Papa in his 71st year got an extended lease on life of almost a year, to cherish and watch his grandchildren grow and thrive.
Dave’s many friends and relatives always had time for a quick visit and talk to brighten his day, continuously greeting everyone with a “happy, happy, happy”.
He was so pleased with his new deck and ramp that his daughter and son in-law made to his specification and overseeing eye.
Dave was so proud of his daughters and son – in – laws. Though he struggled at the end he never complained.
Dave leaves behind his beautiful and beloved daughters;
Bonde and husband Chris F. with their three children; Warden, Deegan, and Mackinlin.
Hunter and partner Chris G. Predeceased by their mother Dawn McGann and sister-in-law Allison McGann.
Brother to Ann Harness, Jane (Willy) Ramsey, Susan (John) Bickle, Catherine (Mike) Mills, Elizabeth (Gus) Mcbride, the late Peter (Linda) Harness, Margret (Jeff) Tomayer, Mark (Melissa) Harness, Stephen, Michael (Tracey) Harness.
Dave was a very fond uncle to many (over 40) nieces and nephews.
A special thank you to Dr. Mule for his care and compassion and home visits, and to the staff at Ed’s House.

Dave wanted a celebration (a big party) and a drink for him, to be held at (Home) 1933 Hwy #2 Port Hope, ON. on June 3rd, 2023 from 1 – 4 p.m.
