Obituary of Susan «Sue» St-Pierre
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sue St-Pierre on Monday, May 15, 2023 at the age of 67. Born and raised in the small town of Bryson, she was the daughter of the late Lionel St-Pierre and the late Anna Rivet.
She leaves behind her loving daughters Natalie St-Pierre and Danica St-Pierre (Jonathan Dumais ), her grandchildren Abigail and Logan. Dear sister of Margo (late Lloyd), Constance, Gerard (Joan), Paulette (Jean-Guy). Jean-Charles (Annette). Hélène (Maurice). Réjean (Pauline) and the late Renée and late Robert (Ann). She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.
Sue was a fun and outgoing person and always made friends wherever she went. She loved baking, especially her mother’s recipes and always shared her baking with friends and family at Christmas time. She worked at Stedman’s for 19 years, and became a fixture of the Shawville store. Greeting customers warmly, and helping everyone who came in. She was a CWL member for many years and President 7 of those years. She worked with the kids in the Faith First program and they loved her. She was also involved in Sparks and helped plan so many activities for the kids. Once she had grandkids, she truly found her happiness. She spoiled them, and loved having them around and spending time with them. They loved spending time with her as well, as they were loved so much. She would visit many people throughout the week like her sisters Margo and Connie, her nieces (in-laws), Betty, Tracey, Lynn, and Amanda. When she moved to the retirement home, she continued her service to others by helping other residents with various chores and had close friendships with Claire, Elaine and Barb. Sue was tireless in her devotion to her church and community.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, May 25, 2023 in Immaculate Conception Church, Bryson, Quebec at 11 a.m. Interment parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
