KATHLEEN “KAY” ROSETTA TULLY
1924 – 2023
The family announces the peaceful passing of Kathleen Rosetta Tully on Friday May 12, 2023 at the age of 98 years. Predeceased by her husband Wallace. Loving mother to James (Margaret), Joanne (Ted) Passmore and Robert (Ann). Grandmother to Luke (Jess), Adam (Melissa), Nicole (Alec), Lindsay (Scott), Chad and David. Predeceased by her grandson Spencer. Great grandmother to Brooklyn, Grace, Evan, Bronwyn, Hadley, Caden and Cameron. Survived by many nieces and nephews.
Kay was a member of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 153. She served in the Canadian Women’s Army Corp in England, France, Belgium and Germany during WWII. She was a life member of Auxiliary to Ontario Fire Chiefs Association, member of the Tillsonburg Curling Club and Past Director of the Tillsonburg Senior’s Centre. Visitation will be held at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg, ON N4G 3T6 (519) 842-5221 on Tuesday May 16, 2023 from 10:30am until 11:30am. A Legion Service for Kay will be held at 11:30am and the Funeral Service will be held at 12:00pm. Pastor Paul Robinson to officiate. Burial will take place at Tillsonburg Cemetery.
Memorial donations in memory of Kathleen may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or the Parkwood Institute (Veteran’s Care Program) and made be done online directly with the organization or by contacting the Funeral Home.
