Obituary of Jackie Le Claire (nee Bouchard)
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jackie Le Claire on April 28, 2023.
She leaves behind her husband of 37 years, Dale, her son Ryan (Britny), daughter Jocelyn and grandson Daxon, as well as special children Tatum and Kinsley, and her furry companion, Shiloh. Jackie was predeceased by her parents Leo and Bertha and father in-law, Ernie Le Claire.
Also left to mourn her loss are her siblings; Carole (Gene), Greg (Annette), Nicole (Carey), Brad (Tina), Auntie’s; Clara, Virginia and Grace. Mother in-law, Anne Le Claire, sister in-laws; Denise (Harry) and Janet, and brother in-laws; Barry (Debbie) and Chris (Heather), along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Jackie grew up in the West End of Winnipeg attending Sargent Park, General Wolfe and Daniel McIntyre Collegiate schools. After graduating high school Jackie went on to work for United Grain Growers, Agricore United, Viterra, Addictions Foundation of Manitoba and E-Health. She became quite proficient in the IT world throughout her career. She used her skills to assist family and friends with their computer issues without hesitation.
She played several sports in her younger years at Orioles Community Centre as well as school, making many lifelong friendships along the way. Her greatest joy was watching her children playing many sports as well, especially soccer, baseball and hockey. She loved family gatherings, evenings with friends and time spent with her grandson Daxon. Her smile and laughter were infectious.
Jackie will be fondly remembered for her hugs and kisses whenever she was leaving your company and the words “I love you” were always cast your way. She cared deeply for her family and friends giving so much of herself to bring a smile to your face.
Jackie meant so much to so many. Stories will be shared at a celebration of her life being held on Wednesday, May 24th from 6:00pm to 9:00pm at Valour Community Centre (Clifton Site) 1315 Strathcona Street. Tributes to start at 6:30pm with an evening lunch to follow. Come join the family as we share stories to celebrate a life well lived.
