Rita Pearlman (nee Simovitch),
in her 94th year from Winnipeg, MB
passed away peacefully on January 4, 2023 at her home in London ON
surrounded by her devoted children and great niece Susan Cogan. Rita
was predeceased by her husband of 47 years Meyer
(Spike) in 2002 and her most precious son Kerry in
2005. Our mom and
Bubbie leave so many memories for her son
Brent (Anne Beaton), her daughter Lisa who provided
unwavering caregiving over many years, daughter-in-law Leora and her
adored granddaughter Madison (her sunshine).
Rita’s greatest joy was spending time with her
family. Our mom and Bubbie was strong, determined,
independent, computer and iPhone savvy, a particular shopper with an
eye for fashion even in her later years. Her sense
of humour and sharp wit stayed with her always. Our family is so
grateful for the ongoing support and commitment of
her friend and neighbour Garnet Chatterton, friend and driver
Bonnie Delanghe and PSW Lisa

service will be held on Monday, January 9, 2023 at
2:00pm at Shaarey Zedek Cemetery 230 Armstrong
