Peacefully at the Hope Street Terrace on Thursday, April 20th, 2023, Doris Sherwin (nee Harris) at 101 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Earl Sherwin. Dear mother of Beverley Birney (the late Bill), the late Bruce Sherwin (The late Connie), the late Larry Sherwin, Lyle Sherwin (Lynn), the late Dianne Nelson (Marvin), Kevin Fitchet (Dianne), and Danny Fitchet (Terri). Cherished grandmother of 14 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren. Predeceased by her siblings, Elmer Harris (the late Joan), and Glenn Harris. Cremation with a Memorial Service to be held at MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 30 King St. E. in Cobourg on Monday, May 8th, at 12 noon. Visitation to be held at the Funeral Home on Monday for 1 hour prior to the service, from 11 am until 12 noon. Reception to follow with a family interment to take place at Bethesda North Cemetery following the reception. Those wishing may make a memorial donation to the Harwood Hall.
