Peacefully on Thursday April 20th 2023 at her home in Port Hope, surrounded by her loving daughters, many grandchildren and friends in her 83rd year
Sandra travelled gently into the afterlife. She will be terribly missed by her close companion Donald McDonald and his children, adoring sister Pamela (Pat) O’Brien, her children Vicki (Gregor) Waters, Allison (Wayne) Young, her late husbands children Bill (Bonnie) Hoy, Mary (Bob) Lee and Tish, grandchildren Amber (Tanner), Sarah (Griff), Gregory (Marcy), Tyler (Brittney), Samantha (Catlin), Brad (Aya), Beverlee (Martin), Bianca, Alex (Danielle) and Elliott including their nineteen beautiful babies, as well as niece Katie (Tommy) and nephew Shane. Met in heaven by her parents Audrey and Gregory McMahon and husband James Hoy.
Survived by her lifelong best friend and one of the loves of her life Suzanne Highfield, a true constant in the life of Sandra and her entire family.
Sandra lived a beautiful life of faith, and spent her golden years helping many in the community. In Lieu of flowers please consider a donation in Sandra’s name to Ed’s House Hospice Care Centre in Cobourg, ON Services held at Ross Funeral home in Port Hope
