It is with great sorrow that the family announces the passing of Yvonne Laplante (Trottier), born August 25th, l956, on October 28th, 2022, in Sudbury at the age of 66 years. Beloved daughter of Marcel and Estelle Trottier. Loving mother of Angèle St-Amant (Marc). She will be deeply missed by her companion Moe (Maurice Scott). She will lovingly be remembered by James, Lorie, Don, Sylvie, Nat and Marc. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Renée, Josée, Éric, Alexandre, Xavier and Kaleb. She is survived by her siblings Roger (Diane), Nicole (Ron), Denis (Darlene), Noëlla (Raymond), Yvon (Gisèle), François (Nancy), Richard, Lise (Luc) and Claude (Suzanne). She will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles. Yvonne was always the life of the party and enjoyed making others laugh. She was well known for her generous nature and having such a big heart. She will always be remembered for her courageous battle with cancer. She loved fiercely, especially her family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a monetary donation to Maison McCulloch Hospice would be appreciated.
Funeral Service in the Lougheed Funeral Home, Hanmer / Capreol Chapel, 4605 Michelle Drive, Hanmer, Wednesday, November 2nd, 2022, at 1pm. (Friends may visit from 11am – 1pm Wednesday).
Interment in the Valley East Cemetery.
