Obituary
After a valiant battle, Yves Tremblay passed away on February 11th, 2022, while in Hospice care at the age of 64. He was born October 9th, 1957 in Ontario, the son of late Joseph Tremblay and Helen Goode. He was the 3rd born of five siblings.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Ellie, his sons, Leith, Kyle, and Tyler and his only daughter Tia. Grandchildren, Ryker Tremblay and Kennadi Morrison Smith, his sisters Wendy (Gerry), and Lori (Mike), and his brother, Randy.
Predeceased by his nephew, Trevor Fowler, and he leaves behind nieces and nephews, Trevor and Todd Fowler, Tammy Ouellette, Kerri-Ann Wilson, Tricia Ouellette, Amanda Laramie, Kayla Ross and Emmy Ross.
Yves was an avid lover of the outdoors and spent much of his time in the mountains enjoying the serene beauty they encompass. Observing Yves in his happy place was something to behold, as being outdoors always brought out his inner peace. If you didn’t find him out camping off the grid, he was behind the wheel of his semi-truck. He spent the majority of his hard-working life as a trucker and was well known and respected in the industry as hardworking and loyal. His quick wit and sense of humor is among many of his traits that will be missed the most. He had such a warm heart towards animals and could often be found cuddled in with Bella, Chloe, Lacey and even the newest addition Cinder with Pudge aka Radar the rabbit not far away.
The family asks that any donations to be made in Yves’s honor go towards the Kidney Foundation of Canada, or to a local animal shelter.
Poem:
“White in the moon the long road lies,
The moon stands blank above;
White in the moon the long road lies
That leads me from my love.”
