Young’s Obituary
CHUN, Young Choo
It is with profound sadness that the family of Dr. Chun announce his passing. He leaves to mourn his loving family in Newfoundland and Labrador and Nova Scotia, as well as relatives in New Brunswick and South Korea.
Young was born in Seoul, South Korea but considered Canada his home. His love of golf brought he and his wife, Hyo Ja to the town of Yarmouth just over twenty years ago. He was a familiar friendly face around the Yarmouth Regional Hospital where he worked as an anaesthetist.
He will be missed by a wide circle of friends, including: his Seoul National University alumni living in England, Germany, South Korea and USA; his colleagues he had the pleasure to work beside in ORs across the country; and his golfing partners from the Yarmouth Links to Wedgewood Country Club in Lakeland, Florida.
At the family’s request, there will be no visitation or service at this time. Donations in memory of Dr. Chun may be made to the Yarmouth Hospital Foundation (Click here to make donation).
