Obituary of Virginia Maud Culp
Virginia M. Culp (nee Dawe)
May 20, 1931 – Sept. 15, 2022
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Virginia Culp, age 91 at Albright Manor.
Virginia was a loving mother to Howard, Joanne (Cal) Loneyand William. Grandmother to Kristy (Dan) Stouck, Sherri (Jake) Lyons, Blake Loney, Richard Culp and Charah Faulkner. Great Grandma to Lincoln & Kate Stouck; Clayton, Nicholas, Veronica & Adelynn Lyons; Khloee and Hadley Culp.
She also leaves behind her dear friend, Lois Krukowski, sisterJudy Tucker as well as all the caring and compassionate nursing staff at Albright. Virginia was predeceased by her parents John Howard and Lillian Dawe, her husband George (2017) and her grandson David Culp (2022).
She worked extremely hard on the farm and keeping the house in order for most of her life but when harvest was over her and George loved going to their home in Florida. Many Saturday evenings they would get together with friends to play cards. Virginia was well known for her knitting and crafts. During her earlier years at Albright she even took part as a vendor in their Craft Show. You would often find her listening to music in her room while making a puzzle. She loved it when Brad Boland came to entertain and John Richardson when he came and played his accordion.
We’d like to acknowledge and thank the amazing staff on 5SW.
Visitation will be at Tallman Funeral Home on Sept 21st from 10-11 a.m. Service will follow immediately thereafter at 11 a.m.
