Victor John Wood 1953- 2022
It is with heartfelt sadness, that we have come together to honor the life of an amazing man who was taken from us way to soon.
Victor was born in Barrie, Ontario to John Wood and Gwen Wood, and was a Big Brother to Christina.
Vic was a loving husband to Debbie for over 50 years and they shared 3 wonderful children John (Pam), Jennifer (Chris), and Jacqueline (Brent). Robert Hornung, was Vic’s Brother in law and Best Friend, and shared many years and memories together, especially when it came to fishing. Vic was a Grandfather to 9 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren, and nieces and nephews, Vic will be deeply missed, by all who knew him, he made an impact on everyone he met. His Muskoka Thunder Family will forever be grateful for the legacy he has left behind, and the Children of the Community, will remember him forever, for the amount of money that was raised, through MTMR, and Gravenhurst Charity Bike Night. Vic never wanted anything and would always want to give to others, His life was lived to the absolute fullest, and we know he would not change a thing.
A celebration of Life will be held at the Gravenhurst Legion on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 from 1-4 pm. Lunch will be provided
The fight is over, you stayed as long as you could for your family, and you are now resting, Rest easy Boogie, you will be greatly missed by all.
