Connie was born on February 17th 1921 to Everette Pierce and Ann Maude

memories of her youth spent on the family farm in Sable River. She
attended the local one-room schoolhouse, church and enjoyed exploring

a founding commissioner of the Martin’s River Fire Department, a
member of the St. Martin’s Anglican Church Alter Guild as well
as the Ladies Auxiliary, a volunteer for the Canadian Cancer Society
and a founder of the Martin’s River Bingo club/group. Along with
spending time with family and friends Connie enjoyed playing cards,
bowling, gardening, cooking and baking. She was a very creative person
and could often be found knitting, sewing or crafting something
special.
Connie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, homemaker and friend
and will be deeply missed. Along with her parents and siblings, Connie

A message to my friends:
No Tears of Sorrow
Think of me
In springtime when you see a crocus
In the summer, a rose
The coloured leaves of autumn
In winter, the gentle falling snow.
Remember that I loved you.
Miss me for a while,
But let me go.
