It is with great sadness that the family of the late Venetta Jane Dyke announce her passing at the Gander Long Term Care Facility on Friday September 30th, 2022 at the age of 90 years.
Born to the late David and Edith Benson on April 21, 1932 and also predeceased by her husband Watson in 2011.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her daughters: Paulette Elliott (Tony), Lorna Ducey (Don); sons: Terry Lisa MacLean), Rodney (Lorraine Davis). Venetta had five grandchildren and five great grandchildren she dearly loved. Sisters: Pricilla Loder (Eugene, deceased), Margaret Clouter (Gerry) and also leaving to mourn a large circle of extended family and many dear friends.
Family will be receiving friends at Stacey’s Funeral Home, Gander on Sunday October 2nd, 2022 between the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at St. Martins Anglican Cathedral, Gander on Monday October 3rd, 2022 at 11:00 a.m., with interment to follow at All Saints Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers donation in Venetta’s memory may be made to St. Martins Anglican Church Fund, Gander or Holy Cross Anglican Church Fund, Eastport.
