Obituary
Ute (Ickler) McArdle, 70, of Moncton, sadly passed away after a long battle with Cancer, on December 21st, 2022 at the Albert House Hospice, Moncton, NB. Born in Balve, Germany she came to Canada at the age of 14.
Ute was a stay-at-home mom who not only raised her 3 children but many other neighborhood children as well throughout the years. She loved babysitting, baking, walking, going to Bingo, playing Poker, and especially spending time with her family and friends.
She always fought the good fight, smiled, and had a positive attitude not only throughout her life but with her battle with the unforgiving disease of Cancer. She was courageous and had no fear of death as she knew God would be waiting with open arms.
Ute will be sorely missed by her partner of more than 13 years, Norman Gallant, her children Caroline Hansen (McArdle), Frank McArdle and Christina McArdle, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, sister-in law Sherrie Melanson (Roger), as well as her nieces and nephews and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband Frank McArdle.
