With broken hearts we share the passing of Trevor Joseph Josiah Smith. Trevor passed away peacefully at Ottawa General Hospital, Ottawa Ontario on Saturday, October 8, 2022, surrounded by his loving family, after a brave and courageous battle with cancer that took him to Ottawa for a stem cell transplant. Trevor was 20 years old.
Trevor was born December 27, 2001 from the day he came into the world he was a lively character. We always said Trevor was born talking, he did most things in life earlier then he should have for his age. Trevor packed more experiences, joy, kindness, and fun into his 20 short years than most of us could ever dream of. He was an avid volunteer within his community of Tilton at a very young age, he was an active member of the Loyal Orange Lodge Chosen Few # 153 Tilton and the Royal Black Preceptory All Saints #1335 Tilton. Trevor was a third-year university student who had planned on teaching elementary school. Trevor was a loyal friend, a wonderful son, little brother, nephew, big cousin, grandson, and boyfriend.

Special Great Uncles & Aunts – Max & Nellie Barrett, George & Betty Barrett who never missed an event of any kind.
A large circle of extended family and a wide range of friends, Trevor left a lasting impression on everyone who crossed his path.

The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Slade’s Funeral Home, Conception Bay Highway, Spaniards Bay on Friday: 7-9 P.M., Saturday: 10:30 A.M.-12 Noon, 2-5 P.M. & 7-9 P.M. and Sunday: 10:30 A.M. – 12 Noon.

The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, October 16, 2022 at 2 P.M. from the All Saints Anglican Church & Cemetery, Tilton.
