Passed away peacefully at Grand River Hospital on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at the age of 85.
Beloved husband of late Sonia for 43 years until her passing in 2004.
Loving father of Michele and her husband Paul Collins, Denise and her husband Paul Way and Chris and his wife Lori Moser.
Dear grandfather of Jacob, Nikole and her husband Duncan, Melissa and Cassie.
Tom was a devoted and faithful member of St. Louis Church serving on the altar, in the choir and as a usher. He also served the community with his involvement in the Knights of Columbus as a past Grand Knight and served on many committees but he especially enjoyed the Toy Drive. Tom had a love for music and taught ball room dancing with Sonia.
Tom’s family will receive relatives and friends on from 5:00 – 8:00 PM on Thursday, September 22, 2022 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener. Knights of Columbus prayer service will take place at 7:45 pm on Thursday evening.
The Funeral Mass will take place at 10:00 AM on Friday, September 23, 2022 at St. Louis R.C. Church, 53 Allen St. E., Waterloo followed by a reception at the Columbus Conference Centre, 145 Dearborn Place, Waterloo.
Cremation and interment will take place at Parkview Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Pride Stables – Central Ontario Developmental Riding Program would be appreciated by the family. Tom volunteered with Pride Stables for many years.
Special thank you for the team at Terrace in the Square for all their care of and support of Tom and family.
Tom always enjoyed sharing a good joke with everyone. « Now Dad we can finally turn off the TV ».
