Obituary for
Sylvia Lechelt (née Naslund)
The family announces with sorrow the passing of Mrs. Sylvia Lechelt (née Naslund) of Mayerthorpe, AB, on August 11, 2022, at the age of 95 years and five months.
Sylvia will be lovingly remembered by her children, Randy and Gwen, Donna and Howard Wallin, Alan, and Ron and Jen; grandchildren, Pam, Kris, Jessica, Angie, Ryan, Amy and Andy; and great-grandchildren, Amanda, Rebecca, Fiona, Rowan and Katelyn. Predeceased by her husband of 69 years, Hilbert (2016). Sylvia was the last of eight siblings born of Johann and Hildur Nasland.
Thank you to the doctors and staff of Extendicare Mayerthorpe for the kind care and support shown to Sylvia and her family.
A Celebration of Life will be held August 17, 2022, at 2 p.m. at the Mayerthorpe Cemetery with Reverend Ruth Lotholz officiating.
In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to Extendicare Mayerthorpe – Resident Council, Box 569, Mayerthorpe, AB T0E 1N0.
