Obituary of Sophie Elizabeth Green
It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our delightful Sophie Elizabeth Green on Sunday, November 13, 2022, surrounded by loved ones.
Sophie was born on February 25, 2009, in Waterville, NB and was loved the moment her parents, Haley Adams and Owen Green, held their daughter. Sophie attended 8th grade at Quispamsis Middle School, where she was eager to learn. She loved to draw, craft, and listen to music. Sophie loved shopping (particularly Lululemon and Sephora) and her collection of stuffies. Sophie was an avid reader with a fabulous vocabulary and had the best, most unique sense of humor. From the time she learned to say “Hi” she made it her mission to brighten everyone’s day with her beautiful smile and witty banter.
Sophie was loved by many, she is survived by her mom Haley Adams (Clint Betteridge) of Quispamsis, and her dad Owen Green, of Saint John, her brother Adam Green, maternal grandparents; Keith and Judy Adams, paternal grandparents; Fred and Linda Green, uncles; Brian Green (Michelle), Mark Adams (Lindsay), and Brent Adams (Samantha), as well as several great aunts, great uncles, cousins, and many friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis, NB (506-849-2119) with visiting on Friday, November 18, 2022, from 6-8 PM. At the family’s request, the wearing of a face mask is recommended. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances in memory of Sophie can be made to the United Way or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
