Obituary
Sherri was born March 17, 1991 to Crystal Lewis and Lee Whitstone in North Battleford. Sherri would brighten a room with just a smile on her face and when she entered a room she always gave a welcoming hug. She was an avid athletic young lady in volleyball, basketball for her height, and of course can’t forget a gold medalist track athlete. Sherri loved her family and friends and would bend over backwards to make sure if they needed help she was there to help when needed. Sherri’s step-dad, Garry, played a huge role in her life since she was 3 years old. She had a name for all of the people close to her, especially her family, like her grandma who she called deekoom and her grandpa mootom who raised her until she was 13.
Sherri was predeceased by: her paternal grandparents, Pierre and Emma Whitstone; her aunt, Peirretta Whitstone; her cousins, Robin Leslie Takanenew, Roxanne Takanenew, Nathaniel Takanenew, Cherish Takanenew, Mitchell Lewis, Tristan Paddy and Darcy Baker; and her nephew, Baby Diamond Lewis.
Sherri is survived by: her common law spouse, Thunder Awasis; her daughter Cherise and her son Taylor; her mother, Crystal Lewis (Garry Frenchman Sr.); her father, Lee Whitstone; her brothers, Garry Frenchman Jr., Draven Frenchman (Ciara M.) and Miguel Wiebe; her sisters Trinity Frenchman (Aiden P.) and Sadie Frenchman (Malachi T.) ; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins to many to mention.
