Broken-hearted, the family of Sharon Hagen announce her sudden passing on Sunday, October 9, 2022 at the age of 53.
Sharon was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on November 20, 1968.
She is cherished and survived by her dear mother Jeannie Hagen, father Ivan (Rick) Hagen, big sister Debbie, brother Vincent Hagen, loving daughter Shaylene, her precious grandkids Praysley and Izlynn Hagen, who she adored, aunties, uncles and many cousins who she loved very much.
Sharon has many special friends who she loved dearly. The outpouring of support from everyone was greatly appreciated.
Sharon was predeceased by her grandparents Emma Lavallee, Gaspard Lavallee of St. Laurent, Manitoba, her grandparents Beatrice Hagen and Carl Ivan Hagen of Saskatchewan, many aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was raised in St. James where she made many long-time friends. Many of which she remained close with over the years. Sharon had such a high spirit and would always light up a room wherever she went with her contagious smile, laugh and sense of humour. She made friends wherever she went. Sharon loved to entertain. She was an awesome singer and could belt out a heart tune like no tomorrow. If the radio was on, Sharon was singing!
Sharon loved fashion. She graduated from Pollock Beauty School and was a hairstylist in salons for many years in her younger days. Even before her passing, she was doing piercings of any kind on her own. If you were not careful you would walk out with one.
She and her sister had many special times over the years which will be cherished forever. Sharon loved her picture taken so we will cherish every picture we have.
Sharon’s greatest joys was her family; her mom she adored so much, her dad, her big sister Debbie, Vinnie, her love of her life: daughter Shaylene and her grandkids were her biggest joy. She spent a lot of her time with them watching movies, cuddling, suppers, joking, laughing, painting nails together with her daughter, doing make up, hair, etc. Sharon was a very caring person; always giving things away to make you smile: a ring, a necklace, perfume, etc. Sharon loved making jewelry. She would sit for hours creating things. She loved to sew and was always fixing something. We would all go to Sharon to sew something if we needed.
Even though Sharon had some challenges in her life, she was a strong woman and her strength will live on in her daughter, grandkids and family. She is loved by many and will be truly missed.
Sharon’s wishes were to be laid to rest with her grandfather Gaspard Lavallee in St. Laurent, Manitoba, who she Adored. This will take place in the summer and a celebration will be announced at that time.
Rest easy our sweet angel Sharon.
Sharon, a beautiful soul set free.
We will celebrate and keep your memory alive everyday.
Until we meet again.
Walk beside us and watch over us. You are always near.
Forever loved unconditionally and forever missed.
