LEWIS, Scott Lawrence – With heavy hearts we are saddened to announce the sudden passing of Scott Lewis. Scott was a one of a kind son, father, brother, uncle and friend.
Scott is predeceased by his father Lawrence (Larry) Lewis; his grandparents: Mary and Con Lewis, Philomena and Patrick Fewer; and numerous members of the Lewis and Fewer Family.
Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are his son Jesse (and his son Josh), and daughter Lexie, and (their mother Wanda Terry); his mother Mazie; his sisters: Kim (Teddy) and Laurie Lee (Kelly); his nieces: Hailee, Kelsie and Heidi; his nephews: Lucas and Noah; his uncle and best buddy Gord Fewer (Ruby), Paddy Lewis (Bon) and John Kennedy; aunts: Irene Fewer, Irene Rees (Clayton) and Julianne Lewis; his children’s grandparents: Billy and Marie Terry whom he had a very special relationship, and their son Ricky.
Scott leaves a large circle of work family and friends at the Darlington Nuclear Generating Station. He is a proud member of the Boilermakers and Ironworkers Unions, and worked with many people all across Canada. He was the type of man who was loved by all, he wore his heart on his sleeve. He loved and enjoyed every moment spent with his family and friends, and as all know he was truly the life of the party. He will be dearly missed and always remembered by special friends Dominic (Corina), Sean (Dale), and Ontario friends Jodi and Niyah, Michelle, Shirley, Tim, Daniel, Eric, Darryl, Pete, Wade, Ryan, and Jeff, and too many more to mention.
The kindest man you could ever meet, treated everyone equal. He was the salt of the earth, too well loved to ever be forgotten.
Your Life touched so many others, and will be remembered forever more, to leave the world a better place than it has been before.
Resting at Flaherty’s Memorial Funeral Home, 70 Conception Bay Highway, Conception Harbour, with visitation on Saturday, November 13th, from 7:00pm – 9:00pm, and Sunday, November 14th, from 10:00am – 9:00pm. Please remember to practice «Social Distancing» during the visitation.
Funeral Mass will take place from Assumption Church, Avondale, on Monday, November 15th, 2021, at 11:00am.
Cremation to follow.
Inurnment will take place in Assumption Cemetery, Avondale, on Saturday, November 19th, 2022, at 2:00pm.
Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Scott’s Memory can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Assumption Parish Memorial Fund.
