Obituary of Samuel Redmond Fairley
Of Belleville, entered into rest at QHC-Belleville General Hospital on Wednesday, September 7th, 2022, at the age of 62. Cherished son of Clare Fairley (nee Brown) and the late Samuel Fairley Sr. Beloved husband of Yvonne Ann Fairley (nee Devlin), for 33 years. Loving father of Michael Fairley (Veronique). Dear brother of Stuart Fairley. Samuel will be missed by his Mother-in-law, Joan FitzGerald, and by his Father-in-law, Ed Devlin (Angie), his sisters-in-law & brothers-in-law; Joan Richards (Gary), Ed Devlin (Connie), and by his nieces and nephews; Brandon, Dexter, Brittany, Taylor, Sydney, Cameron and great-niece, Lucy. Cremation will be taking place. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, 214 King Avenue East, Newcastle on Saturday, September 17th, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. Following the Mass, family and friends are invited to a time of fellowship and reception at Walsh’s Snug “The Snug”, 28 King Avenue East, Newcastle. If desired, donations to the Parkinson’s Foundation (Parkinson Canada) or Be a Donor, (for organ and tissue donation), would be greatly appreciated by the family. Samuel, even his death, was a caring and giving person. He made sure that his family followed his wishes of Organ Donation. Others will benefit from his selfless act of donation.
