PURDY – Ruby Ann
It is with profound sadness the family announces the peaceful passing of Ruby Ann Purdy at St. Joseph’s Lifecare Centre on Saturday December 24, 2022 in her 84th year. Predeceased by her husband Raymond (2014). Dedicated, proud and loving mother of Robert Purdy (Judy), Richard Purdy (2014) (Sue), Rose-Marie Thomson (Scott) and Robin Begin (Dave). Cherished and doting grandma of Ryan (Krista) and Shawn Purdy, Meghan (Trevor) and Stephen purdy, Ali Thomson (Joe), Rachel, Jordan and Samantha (1993). Treasured great grandma of Bentley and Stella purdy and Walker Murray. Devoted sister of Alberta Flores, Katie Starzacher (Peter) and Gail Gilson (John). Ruby will be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, friends and former colleagues. Ruby was a well known, dedicated and respected Registered Nursing Assistant at the Brantford General Hospital for over 25 years. A celebration of Ruby’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations to the St. Joseph’s Lifecare Foundation or to the Stedman Community Hospice would be appreciated.
