Obituary of Rowie Young
Passed peacefully away at home surrounded by her family on August 31, 2022, Rowie «Toot» Young. Rowie was born on December 23, 1947 to George and Blanche Young in Badger. Rowie is predeceased by her parents George and Blanche; brothers Charles, Samson, Hedley, Harry; sister Mary; daughter Colleen. She leaves to mourn her son-in-law Steve and his children Kendell and Braeden; children Debbie and Daniel; sister Ruby; brother Robert; along with a large group of family and friends. Rowie loved many, but the love for her daughter Colleen and son-in-law Steve along with their children was a special love. Rowie was a member of St. John Ambulance for many years. She would volunteer at hockey games, and other recreational events in towns around the Central area. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.
Public visitation will take place at Faith Covenant Church in Badger on Friday, September 2, 2022 from 7-9 p.m.
Memorial service will be held at Faith Covenant Church in Badger on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at 2:00 p.m.
No flowers at the family’s request. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.
