It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Rowena Legge of Garnish announces her passing. Rowena passed away at the Carbonear Long Term Care Facility in Carbonear on Monday, December 19th, 2022, at the age of 85.
Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are her husband, Ludwick of 64 years; sons, Frazer Legge (Elizabeth) of Fort McMurray, AB, Bob Legge (Elaine) of Marystown and Dan Legge (Connie) of Garnish; 5 grandchildren, Lindsey (Derrick), Jenelle (Chris), Kyle (Victoria), Jayden and Keira; 5 great-grandchildren, Kasen, Derrick, Jenna, Kendall and Carter; sister-in-law, Betty Simmons of Nova Scotia; plus a large circle of family and friends.
Lilly was predeceased by parents, Elizabeth & Charles Grandy; son, Darren Legge; brother, Frazer Grandy; parents-in-law, Susan & Robert Legge; brother-in-law, Donald Legge; and sisters-in-law, Martha Inkpen and Ernestine Cheeseman.
In honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place.
The Legge Family will be accepting visitors at the Salvation Army Citadel, Garnish on a date and time to be announced.
Funeral Service will take place at the Salvation Army Citadel, Garnish on a date and time to be announced.
In Rowena’s memory donations may be made to The Salvation Army Citadel, Garnish or flowers gratefully accepted.
