Obituary of Rose Michelin
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Rose Melva Sophia Michelin (nee Sheppard) announce her passing on July 27th, 2022 at the Happy Valley Goose Bay Long Term Care Center at the age of 90 years. She will be sadly missed by her children Richard (Joy), Joan (Terry), Frank (Joan), Sharon (Robert), Jean (Shawn), Angela (Jamie), Marilyn (Richard), Darlene (Ken); her 51 grandchildren; great- grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; brother-in-law Ross Michelin; sisters-in-law Ann Michelin, Dorothy Michelin; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Rose was predeceased by her husband Richard Alexander Michelin; parents Randell & Annie Sheppard; siblings Edward, Emily and Cecil Blake, Leonard & Mary Sheppard, Bert Sheppard, Susie & Gerald Groves.
Visitation will be held on July 30th , 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm, followed on July 31st 2-4pm and 7-9 pm at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Happy Valley Goose Bay. Funeral Services will be held on August 1st, 2022 at the St. Andrews Anglican Church, Happy Valley Goose Bay, with Reverend Amber Tremblett officiating. Interment to follow at the United Church Cemetery.
