It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roberto Pavan of Surrey, British Columbia, who passed away on March 22, 2022, at the age of 75. He leaves to mourn his family and friends in Canada and Italy.
Roberto was born in Italy and immigrated to Canada in the late 60’s. He was a master craftsman in woodwork and design, inspiring many with his creative genius and talents with wood products. He was an amazing gardener, who lovingly shared his knowledge and gave selflessly the fruits/vegetables of his labour to friends, family, and community.
Roberto will be remembered fondly as a kind-hearted and generous man, who lived life on his own terms. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
In lieu of flowers please consider a donation in his name to the Greater Vancouver or Diabetes Canada. And to celebrate his love for gardening, please plant something in his memory, so his passion will live on.
Roberto’s final place of rest will be amongst the trees and flowers at Heritage Gardens, in Surrey B.C.
