Peacefully, at home,
December 30, 2022, Peter passed away at the age of
93years.
Loving husband of Bea
for 69 years and father of Wilma Morrison & Ron (Brenda)
Mook. Cherished «Grandpa & Papa» to
grandchildren Tamara (Tom) McSherry, Ryan Mook (Anita Sivyer)
& Ashley Morrison; great-grandchildren Kaley (Tim) &
Liam and great-great-grandchildren Braxton &
Mackenzie. Peter is survived by 2 sisters & 2
brothers in Holland and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased
by 4 sisters & 3 brothers.
Peter was a cabinet
maker by trade and was a faithful member of Bethel Christian Reformed
Church and more recently Forest City Community Church East
Campus. When there was work to be done around the church or
home Peter «was a doer» and could be counted on to get the
work done. He was a selfless person and a family man and
could always be counted on by his family and friends. Peter
could be found on Sunday nights cooking dinner because «Bea had
cooked all week and it was his turn». He was a good
provider, an awesome father and grandfather and one of his great
pleasures were his great-grandchildren &
great-great-grandchildren. Peter will be greatly missed by
his wife of almost 70 years, all of his family and his friends
& church members from Bethel Christian Reformed Church and
Forest City Community Church.
A visitation to
Celebrate Peter’s Life will be held at the Evans Funeral Home, 648
Hamilton Rd., London, on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 from
6-8pm. Prayers will be said at 7:45pm by Pastor Rick Mann
from Forest City Community Church East Campus. Cremation has
taken place and no funeral service will be held. Online
