Peacefully at the Souris Hospital, after a short and accepting battle with cancer, surrounded by family, Patricia Anne MacDonald, 66 years, was called home to a new life. Born in North Lake, she was the beloved daughter of the late Jim and Beatrice MacDonald. She is survived by her siblings Gerry, Bernadette McInnis, Loretta (Leroy) Walsh, Charlie (Helen), Victor (Debbie), Bernard and sister-in-law Anne MacDonald. Special nieces and nephews; Vanessa (Duane) Mahar, Johanna (David) Field, Kara (James) Campbell, Susanne (Sean) Connors, Brodie (Emily) MacDonald, Lisa Walsh-Cooper (Aaron), Andrew (Lyndsay) MacDonald and numerous grand nieces and nephews. Patricia was predeceased by her parents, brothers; John and Leonard; brother-in-law Leo McInnis and sister-in-law Mary MacDonald.
Resting at Dingwell Funeral Home with visiting hours on Thursday, April 7, 2022 from 5-7pm. A funeral mass will be held at the St. Columba Roman Catholic Church, Fairfield on Friday, April 8, 2022 at 11:00am. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. If so desired, donations in Patricia’s memory can be made to the Eastern Kings Health Foundation (Souris Hospital) or Hospice PEI and would be gratefully accepted.
