The death occurred peacefully at the Atlantic Baptist Nursing Home on Monday, September 26, 2022, of Anne Ellen McInnis of Savage Harbour, PEI, aged 93. Anne was born on May 1, 1929 to her late parents, John D. and Agnes (nee MacKinnon) McInnis, Point DeRoche. She is survived by many nieces and nephews and her godson, Patrick Kelly. Anne was the last surviving member of her family. She was predeceased by her brothers, Rueben (Harriet), John (Laura), James (Blanche), Charles and Reginald and her sister, Mary. Visitation will be held at St. Andrew’s Roman Catholic Church, Mount Stewart, on Monday, October 3, 2022, at 2:30 p.m. until time of the funeral mass at 4:00 p.m. Interment will follow in St. Andrew’s Roman Catholic Parish Cemetery. If desired, donations in memory of Anne to St. Andrew’s Roman Catholic Cemetery Fund or the Upper Room Hospitality Ministry would be appreciated. Anne’s family would like to thank the staff at Atlantic Baptist Nursing Home for the exceptional care given to our aunt during the last years of her life.
