Passed away surrounded by his loving family at the Health Sciences Centre on Monday, July 4, 2022.
Predeceased by his parents: Louis and Henrietta; brothers: Brian and Daniel; and his first wife Anne.
Leaving with cherished memories his loving wife Ardyth Kennedy; three sons: Colin (Rebecca), Ian (Rolene), and Dennis (Erika); grandchildren: Alice, Emily, and Riley; sisters: Anne (Allan) Donohoe, Audrey (Guy) Robson; brothers: Louis (Janet), Kevin (Margot), Joe (Mary), Garry (Betty), Paul (Cathy), Larry (Adele), and Bill; many nieces, nephews, in-laws, extended family, and friends around the world.
As a Mining Engineer Bob had endless opportunities to learn about the cultures of the world. Having worked in Zambia, Argentina, Chile, Honduras, Mexico, Bolivia, U.S.A, Peru, and Canada. We have listened to many stories of friendship and his travels. He had the opportunity to extend his knowledge throughout his 40 year career and touched the lives of so many people.
Visitation will be held from Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl on Wednesday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm.
