The family of Maureen Margaret McQuade, 75, of Lunenburg, NS and formerly of Bath, New Brunswick, announce her passing on Sunday, June 26, 2022 at South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater.
She was born in Bath, NB on May 31, 1947 and was a daughter of the late Robert and Edith (Cauldwell) Crawford.
Maureen was a very special lady with a very big heart. She loved her family and friends fiercely, and loved all kinds of fur babies.
Maureen is survived by her brother Tom Crawford, Bath, NB; niece Amanda Crawford, St. John, NB; very close friend, Diane MacIssac, Lunenburg, NS; and the McQuade family who have been very supportive throughout her life. She had many friends who loved and cherished her.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Raymond and brother Malcolm.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, 11213 Hwy#3, Lunenburg. In keeping with Maureen’s wishes cremation has taken place and there is to be no public memorial service.
In lieu of flowers, donations to an animal shelter or a charity of your choice in Maureen’s name would be appreciated by the family.
