Mary Joyce Chambers (nee Skelton) 1927-2022
Peacefully at the Welland Hospital on Friday, June 24, 2022 in her 96th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband Alvin (2006). Loving mother to Ross (Shirley), and Dawn Canonico (Steve), and Tom (predeceased). Predeceased by her siblings Frances (Skelton) Biederman, Robert Skelton, Edgar Skelton, and Frank Skelton.
Survived by her sister Margaret Allen.
Joyce will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Joe, Tanya, Chase, Blake, Tanner, Scott, Kelly, Miranda and Carina, and great grandchildren Emma, Payge, Hailie, Amaka, Keisha, Teagan, Cooper, Calvin, Henry, Charlotte, and Oliver.
Joyce was known for her baking, love of gardening and card playing, as well as her skills at knitting and crocheting. Along with her husband Alvin, they were the owner/operators of Chambers Water Haulage until their retirement.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A private interment will take place at a later date.
