home to be with her Lord. Born in Blacks Harbour NB on May 9, 1935,
she was a daughter of the late Basil and Della (Leavitt) Justason. A
loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Marlene is survived
by two sons: Brian Justason of Saint John NB and Stuart Justason

George NB, Heather (George) Bradford of Back Bay NB; Sandra (Paul)

nieces, nephews and many cousins. In addition to her parents, Marlene
was predeceased by one great-grandson: Oliver; brothers: Art Card and
Jim Justason; and her sisters: Marie Turner and Joyce Hesse. Marlene
was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Prior to retirement, Marlene worked for Connor’s Brothers as
a packer and later as a janitor in the packing room. She loved
knitting and reading when she was able and enjoyed going for drives
and watching her game shows on TV. Marlene really enjoyed playing
board games with family and friends, especially dominos, but her most
precious time was time spent with her grandchildren and great
grandchildren. Marlene was a faithful and devoted member of the
Pentecostal Lighthouse Church in Blacks Harbour, a church and church
family she enjoyed attending and she truly loved serving her Lord.
