Marjorie Moffit passed peacefully Monday, December 5, 2022, at Extendicare Cobourg at the age of 90. Pre-deceased by her husband James Moffit who passed in 2010. Loving mother of her youngest daughter, Kathryn Lee Ryder and daughter in-law Cathy Moffit. Pre-deceased by her children, Gail Rodgers and James Moffit. Loved Grandmother to Jay, Jennifer, Lee, Robert, Kaylyn, Stephanie and Dylan. Dear great-grandmother to Ashley, Skyler, Daria, Julia, Brody, Nicholas, Colton, Joshua, Denver and Nash as well as great-great grandmother to Isobel and Jaxzyn. Marjorie will be remembered fondly by her siblings Ross, Merla, Allan, Teddy and Bobby and is pre-deceased by her siblings Lois, Maurice, and Larry. Marjorie is the daughter of the late Verna and Robert Francis. The family would like to extend their thanks and gratitude to Extendicare Cobourg for all their compassion and gentle care to Marjorie during her time there. A very special thank you is extended to Helen, who treated Marjorie as family and cared for her in the best possible way. A graveside service will be held at Cobourg Union Cemetery, Cobourg Ontario, Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at 2:00PM. Following the service friends and family are welcomed back to MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 30 King Street East, Cobourg, Ontario for a reception. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Extendicare Cobourg.
