Obituary of Margaret Della Rose
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Margaret Della Rose announce her peaceful passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre in Grand Falls-Windsor on Tuesday, September 6, 2022. She was an avid member of the Grand Falls Seniors Club for many years attending to many activities such as Christmas parties, dances, monthly meetings and enjoyed many games of cards with her card buddies. She also enjoyed her times in the summer moponths out trout fishing, gone for hours on end not realzing the time. Margaret is predeceased by her parents Chesley and Jane Rogers of St. John’s; her husband, Clarence Rose; brothers Eli, Frank, and Thomas (Tommy); step-brother Dolph; sisters Levine Cullimore, Mary Keats and Melvina Ivany; and her son, Clarence Rose Jr.
She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughters, Carla Tizzard (Kurt) and Gina Sampson (Bruce); her granddaughters Cynthia Bray and Chanda Jordan; grandson, Brian Tizzard (Pearl); great-grandson, Spencer Smith; and great-great grandson Cole. Also left to mourn are her sisters Gertrude Elton and Lucy Hawley; brother Aubrey and his wife Bernice, along with many nieces and nephews and extended family.
As per her wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of her Life will take place at Hoskins Funeral Home in Grand Falls-Windsor later this week.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation for the special care given to Margaret over the past several weeks by the nursing staff on 3A at CNRHC.
