RAINFORD, Margaret Marion (nee Somerville) – passed away peacefully at the Belleville General Hospital on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, age 99 years. Eldest daughter of the late Reginald Somerville and Edith (Reynolds). Margaret graduated in nursing and was a VON nurse during the war years and for some time after. She lived in Toronto until retiring to Brighton where she enjoyed gardening, and was a member of the Women’s Institute. Beloved wife of the late Aubrey Dennis Rainford (2015). Dear mother of Judith Ellen Dick (Jim) of Chatham and Robert William Rainford (Sandra) of Markham. Grandmother of Adam Dick (Hui Wang) and Alexis and Noah Rainford. Great-grandmother of Ava and Andrew Dick. The family will receive friends at the Brighton Funeral Home, 130 Main Street, Brighton (613-475-2121) on Tuesday August 16th, 2022 from 1 o’clock. Memorial Service to follow in the funeral home at 2 o’clock. As an expression of sympathy, donations to Community Care Brighton, would be appreciated by the family.
