With broken hearts our dearest Mum went peacefully to heaven. Even though we are heartbroken, we are truly thankful that we were able to grant her wish to be at home surrounded by her girls. Thank you Mum for being our strength and making us who we are today. Mum is survived by Margie (Frank) Hamelin, Jacqueline (Sil) Fanelli, Sandra (Bill) Hockney, Brenda (Rick) Bramham, Debbie Willis, Shellie Wells (Pete) and sisters Joyce (Ken) Harrison, June Jeacock and sister in law Celeste (Joy) Slater, brother in law Frank (Jane) Willis, Louanna (David) Hudgel. Also survived by many grandchildren, great and great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Margaret is predeceased by her beloved husband John “Jack” Willis, daughter Cindy (Pete) Sazonov, her parents James and Rose Slater, brother Alan Slater, sister Daphne Slater, and brother-in-law Tony Jeacock. We would like to extended a special thank you to Dr. Lori Kolano, Dr. Ian Campbell, Roberta from Care Partners and all the wonderful staff at Sumac Lodge. A funeral service will be held at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia on Wednesday September 21, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior starting at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow in Lakeview Cemetery. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to Parkinson’s Canada, Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice (cheques only at the funeral home please).
