Obituary
BARTLETT, Malcolm “Mac” John – 60 of Shelburne, N.S., passed away at his home on Tuesday November 15, 2022 with his family by his side.
He spent most of his adult life on the water, fishing with his dad Mac Bartlett Sr., and later went fishing offshore on the Clearwater Lobster boat to earn a living for his family.
Mac in his younger years enjoyed a game of pool or darts at the Legion Hall. He also enjoyed hunting and going to camp with his friends. In 2009 he married the love of his life Marlene Scott of West Green Harbour, they were sweethearts from the age of 15 and spent 45 years together with their family. His grandson Keegan was his namesake and held a special bond in his heart.
Malcolm is survived by his wife Marlene, daughter Tina, son Corey, grandson Keegan John. Sisters; Suzanne (Morton) Bower, Donna and Sherry all of Shelburne along with many nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his father Mac Bartlett Sr., and his mother Marguerite Nickerson Bartlett.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Shelburne. A private family memorial service will take place at a later date. Donations in his name may be made to a Charity of Choice. On-line condolences may be left for the family at www.huskilson.net
