Obituary
Magdalena Molado Williams of Bashaw passed away June 23, 2022 at the age of 80 years.
She was born to the late Gregorio & Cristeta Andanar in Leyte, Philippines on May 27, 1942. Magdalena was very studious and talented as a seamstress and home economics teacher. In 1981 she married her loving husband, the late Llewelyn “Bill” Williams and moved to BC, Canada where her daughter, Eileen, was born. In 1990 they moved to Bashaw and it is here, on her special acreage, where she spent the last 32 years of her life. Magdalena will most lovingly be remembered for her warm & welcoming kindness, her infectious smile, and her devotion to her family, friends, and her faith.
Magdalena was predeceased by her parents, husband, step-grandchild Debbie Williams, and brothers Alberto, Tereso, Miguel, Ruperto & Gavino Andanar. She is survived by siblings Amada Lequin, Feliciana Andanar, Cristina Lastimosa, Tito Andanar, and Anselmo Andanar; her daughter Eileen Roberts (Cory) and beloved grandchildren Kate & Bryson; stepchildren Derek Williams (Judy) and Sheila Sutton (Gary), 4 step-grandchildren & 12 step-great-grandchildren.
A Prayer Vigil will be held at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Bashaw on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 with viewing at 6:30 p.m. and Prayers beginning at 7:00 p.m.
The Funeral Mass will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Bashaw with the Interment Service following at the Bashaw Cemetery.
