It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Lucy Haas announces her peaceful passing from Copper Crescent Long Term Care Facility, Baie Verte, NL on Friday, August 12, 2022 at the age of 87 years.
Public visitation will take place from St. John the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, Brent’s Cove, NL on Sunday, August 14, 2022 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. The family has requested that masks be worn at all times while attending the visitations.
A Rosary service will take place on Sunday, August 14, 2022 at 7pm.
The Mass of Christian Burial will take place from St. John the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, Brent’s Cove, NL on Monday, August 15, 2022 at 11:00am with Father Camillus Ekedobe officiating. The family has requested that masks be worn at all times while attending the funeral. Interment will follow on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at 11am from St. John the Apostle Roman Catholic Cemetery, Brent’s Cove.
As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made in Lucy’s memory to South and Central Health Foundation, Copper Crescent Long Term Care’s “Bring the Bus Home” fundraising campaign.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 22 Main Street, Baie Verte, NL.
