Louise May Irene Watson (nee Lucht)
Louise was born on January 11th, 1960 in Trail, British Columbia, and passed away after a lengthy illness on December 11th, 2022 in Trail, British Columbia. She was predeceased by her loving parents, Elmer and Alice Lucht, brothers Dwayne and Ron Lucht and an infant sister, Peggy Lucht all of Fruitvale, BC. Louise is survived by son Brad Watson (Bev), daughter, Amber Watson-Rosse (Sean), grandchildren Brooke Watson, Bailey Watson, Benjamin Robitaille, Aurora Watson-Sass, Koa Rosse and a great granddaughter, Athena D’Appolonia.
Louise was born and raised in the Fruitvale/Trail area and attended J.L. Crowe high school. After high school, and having children, Louise earned her Pharmacy Technician certificate and spent many years working at Shoppers Drug Mart in Trail. She traveled throughout BC and Alberta in her adult years, spending time in Sparwood, Spruce Grove, Port Hardy, Nakusp, and Victoria. Louise loved fishing, spending time with her family and building sheds with her father and brothers. She had an incredible sense of humor and often enjoyed a sassy joke. Her world was her children and grandchildren and she would give the shirt off her back to help someone out. She was a very smart, classy and dignified woman and was always well put together. Her best saying was “let nature take its course.”
A Celebration of Life will be directed by Pastor Abresch on January 7th at 11:00 am at Peace Lutheran Church, 2001 2nd Avenue, Trail, British Columbia. Andreas Schmitz of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services™ has been entrusted with arrangements.
