Laurie Léger Jr., 70, of Bas-Cap-Pelé,
passed away surrounded by his loving family, at the Dr. Georges-L.
Dumont on Saturday, October 8th, 2022. Born in
Moncton, he was the son of the late Laurie and Clorice (Goguen)
Léger.
Before his retirement, he was employed at Cap Bald
Packers.
He is survived by his three children: Samantha Belliveau of
Moncton, Marise, and Debbie; seven siblings: André
Léger (Patricia Carrier) of Moncton, Gisèle
Breau (late Oscar) of Portage, Sarah Cormier (Guy) of Portage, Carmel
Léger (Reggie Richard) of Shediac, Ruffin Léger
of Barachois, Joe Léger (Marcella) of Cap-Pelé
and Donald Léger (Diane Cormier) of Cap-Pelé as
well as several grand-children, nieces, and nephews.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and
Cremation Center, 2642, chemin Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé on
Friday, October 14th from 1:30 pm till 3:30 pm
only. As per his wishes, there will be no funeral
service.
In memory of Laurie, a contribution to Fondation Dumont
Foundation, Oncology, would be appreciated.
Cremation and funeral
arrangements are under the direction of Frenette Funeral and Cremation
Centre, Shediac (532-3297).
