BARKS: Larry « Bullseye » –
A resident of Merlin, Larry « Bullseye » Barks passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus with his family at his side on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at the age of 77.
Born in Tillsonburg, Larry was the son of the late Leslie and Myrle (Jenner) Barks.
Beloved husband of 56 years to Ella (nee Houle).
Predeceased by his son and best friend, Jim Barks (2018).
Loving father to Sandra Charron (Tim Nissen) of Blenheim.
Proud Grampy to Kayla Smith, Devin Barks, Ryan Barks (Haley Aguiar), Stevie-Ray Charron and great-grandson Michael Smith.
Brother-in-law to Charlie Houle (late Shirley), Hylda Lafleur and Elaine Sharron (late Earl). Predeceased by sister-in-law Annette Fulmer (late Jim)
Also missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
Larry was an avid dart player, earning the nickname « Bullseye ». He won numerous trophies, medals, and plaques, and made many friends around the world through darts.
Larry enjoyed going fishing with family and friends and working on model car kits.
As per Larry’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Donations made in memory of Larry to the Royal Canadian Legion. Br. 252 Bothwell would be appreciated.
