It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of a beloved husband, brother, uncle and grandson Kyle Joseph Slaney of Sherwood Park AB, formerly of St. Lawrence, NL on Tuesday November 15th at the age of 35.
Left to carry his memory are his wife Melissa Slaney and fur baby Kaiya who were without a doubt the loves of his life: brothers Brandon(Jessie) Slaney; and Ian (Grace) Slaney; sisters is law Melanie ( Adam) Loder and Michelle (Chad) Miller; special nephew Zayd, Jake, Nicholas, Matthew and Theo; niece Lillian; grandmother Evelyn Hillier, parents in law Randy and Daphne Edwards; special Uncle John( Sharon) Clarke and special aunt Marg as well as a large circle of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Predeceased by his parents Brian and Cathy Slaney; grand parents Moira and Allan Slaney; grandfather Augustine Clarke; step grandfather Les Hillier, and Uncle Al Slaney.
Kyle will be fondly remembered for his carefree nature; always up for an adventure at Turtle Lake or Lewin’s Cove. We will miss him dearly but take solace in knowing that he is reunited with his mother Cathy who was his first love.
Cremation has taken place. No service will be held at this time.
