Kevin’s Obituary
Kevin L. Chapman – 58, Richmond, passed away September 25th, 2022 in Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital, Tatamagouche with family by his side. Born in Tatamagouche, he was the son of the late Albert and Nina (Halverson) Chapman.
Kevin was with Ground Search and Rescue for 30 years as well as a member of the Wallace Fire Department for 15 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and darts.
He is survived by his wife, Cindy (MacBernie); daughter, Sonya; granddaughters, Leah and Paige; brother, Steven (Cathy); nieces, Brittany and Haley; brother-in-law, Craig (Rose); many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by his parents, an infant brother as well as many other family members. The family would like to thank the Doctors, Nurses and the VON for their care. A special thank you to Martha Ferguson for her exceptional kindness and support as well as everyone who assisted the family during Kevin’s illness.
A Celebration of his Life will be held Saturday, October 8th from 2-4pm in the Wallace Fire Hall.
Donations in Kevin’s memory may be made to the Monument Hill Cemetery, Richmond. Arrangements are under the direction of Coulter’s Funeral Home, Tatamagouche.
