Obituary for
Ken Phillips
Ken Phillips of Waskatenau went to be with Jesus on December 13, 2021 at the age of 97.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Sharon; six children, Garry (Margaret), Allan (Cindy), Clinton, Charlotte (Eugene), Jane (Bernie) and Jessica (Clarence); 15 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, extended family and many friends.
Ken was predeceased by his first wife, Phyllis; his parents, Leslie and Blanche Phillips; sisters, Iva, Gertrude, Bernice, Luella and Leslie; brother, Douglas; grandchildren, Delcey and Michael and granddaughter-in-law, Michelle.
Son of a pioneer settler, Ken loved the land, and lived to see the fifth generation of the Phillips family farming on the original homestead. He was fond of animals and treasured his memories of working with horses.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, July 2, 2022, at 11 a.m. at the Waskatenau Community Centre, 5104 – 50 Street, Waskatenau. Inurnment to follow at Pine Creek Cemetery.
