Shaw, Kenneth Ira “Ken”
Died peacefully at Campbell House Hospice on Monday, December 5, 2022 in his 85th year. Ken, of Collingwood, was the beloved husband of Ruth (nee Graham) for over 60 years. Loving father of Kevin (Patti), Dan, Joe (Karen) and Cindy (Doug). Cherished grandfather of thirteen and great-grandfather of seven. Dear brother of Audrey, Shirley, Myrna. Predeceased by his brothers Ed and Dennis. Lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Ken passionately loved country-western music and playing guitar and singing at nursing homes. He enjoyed travelling Canada with Ruth and spending time with family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Friends are invited to join the family for visitation at the Chatterson Funeral Home, 404 Hurontario Street, Collingwood on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 from 7-9 p.m. and again on Thursday, December 8, 2022 from 12:30 p.m. for the funeral service in the chapel at 1:30 p.m. Interment to follow at First Presbyterian Cemetery, Collingwood. In memory of Ken, donations to Hospice Georgian Triangle – Campbell House, Collingwood G & M Hospital Foundation or the Salvation Army would be appreciated by the family.
