Peacefully, with his loving family by his side, on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at Hospice, Jesus welcomed Ken home into his loving arms. Cherished husband of Nichole Coolledge and the late Betty (Oancea) Thorner. Loving Father of Christopher (Laura) Losier. Beloved Grandpa of Lily Losier. Dear Son of Larry (Tammy) McArthur and Lisette (nee Lacasse, the late Ken Thorner). Treasured Brother of Ron (Tracey) Thorner, Dana Jones, Craig McArthur, Christa (Corey) McKellar and Brandon McArthur. Adored Brother-in-law of Chris Coolledge (Stacey), Mark (Stephanie) Facca, James Coolledge, Ryan Coolledge (Danielle), and Craig (Alex) Coolledge. Dear Son-in-law of Bonnie (Carlo) Facca and Steve (Vicky) Coolledge. Ken is survived by many nieces and nephews. Ken was a well-known Realtor with RE/MAX in the city of Sarnia for many years; he was always involved in the community. Ken was a proud member of the Sarnia Golf and Curling Club, where he spent most of his free-time swinging the golf clubs. Ken has always been a dedicated Dallas Cowboys fan. Ken will be sadly missed by many extended family members and friends, especially by his furry companions Dallas and Darla, predeceased by Kody, Max, Sadie, Ty, Maddie and Reddick. Family and friends will be received at SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A celebration of Ken’s life will be held at Trinity Anglican Church, 1194 Murphy Rd, Sarnia, on Friday August 12, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Lakeview Cemetery. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to St. Joseph’s Hospice or The Sarnia-Lambton Humane Society (cheques only at the funeral home please).
